Sims 4 Autonomy Mods

ARCHIVING THIS THREADThis thread is to collect information about Simulation and Autonomy lag in the game and give you some tips/tricks how to handle it. Please share any information you have and I will also merge any threads concerning this issue into this one. This is to collect all information in one place and not have multiple threads on the same issue.Information about your computer is very useful but it's not to blame your computer, it's to determine common factors.I will archive this thread with every Expansion Pack and create a new one to reflect the current situation. Any new information will be added to the first postIntroductionSimulation/Autonomy lag has many causes and will usually manifest itself in the following symptoms.

Clothing cannot be implemented without imploding this engine or looking really, really stupid. The walls should already spew splinters if you shoot them, but they last milliseconds and are really low-res.Adding clutter to shoot can be done, but generally the aim of most modders is to reduce such clutter because it is one of the things that causes gradual slowdowns as you play.Extra gibs that would be modeling work. Fallout new vegas boobs. Maybe a Mortal Kombat style mod where there's 5 legs, 7 eyeballs, 4 skulls, (and so on) as parts gib just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles? May be done somewhere, but modelers usually aim to create living stuff that looks better, or updated item meshes. I found an NPC/Creature spawn tool. And could modders copy existing ambiguous gored body parts to increase the amount of red meat rigidbodies that spawn as individual parts gib? Thanks for the info, also know of any custom maps with large amounts of characters in small-ish spaces, destructible crate mods, item spawner mods (creating destructible junk), things like that?

10 Of The Weirdest Sims 4 Mods. There are hundreds of mods that make Sims 4 a better game. However, some modifications are weird, from crazy hats to very loved up Sims.

Sims standing around doing nothing. Sims not doing anything on their own (with free will set to max).

Sims take forever to do a given command. Time jumping backwards after fast forwarding to Ultra Speed. Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post:You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup. After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back. Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually).

Tray Folder. Screenshots/Videos/Custom music. Rest of the save games (leave out slot00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it). Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up. Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game. Even with Autonomy enabled Sims will from time to time stop doing anything without direct input. On occasion specific needs become frozen. For example one of my Sims was fine, until I told her to have a water balloon fight, after she finished she stood there doing nothing unless I gave direct input. Later she froze on the toilet with her need meter not increasing, after cancelling Use Toilet the need remained at nill. Then other household members began having the same issue with their AI not doing anything.Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?

I've removed them.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? YesPlease describe the patch or change you made. Sims 4 Seasons installed.‌Since installing Sims 4 Seasons and it's pre-launch patch my sims will occasionally loose their Autonomy, even with it being toggled on and off and back on again via the options menu. They simply just stand around idle not willing to do anything.Examples being my sim's son finished having a shower then stood in the bathroom from 4am to 8am (In-game time) until the game sent him to schoolHis mother stood idle in the backyard after a water balloon fight until she was starving and I had to tell her to get food. And the father finished a jog with the dog and stayed at the other side of the local area by a stream until I realized he didn't return (6 hours in game time)After this all began I noticed from time to time some needs will become frozen. The mother's toilet need is frozen at nill, the Father's hygiene meter isn't dropping and the son has lost the need to sleep.

None of them have any perks.

This mod is definitely a game changer!Ever encountered one of these simulation lags in The Sims 4 where sims just stand by and do nothing even though the game is running at full speed?also, this happened to me an hour ago:— Sims Community (@TheSimCommunity)This lag that’s been happening very often since has now been fixed by modder. He explained what this issue is all about and how he fixed it in the text below:To explain it concisely, imagine that the game updates using a bucket. The game fills this bucket when it needs to schedule stuff for processing. So if the game needed to run autonomy, it would dump a note in the bucket saying, “Hey, can you process this sim’s autonomy 30 minutes from now? Thanks.”Now imagine that the bucket is getting full, it takes longer and longer to reach the end of the bucket. Now, autonomy is one of the most time-consuming systems in the game, so a few autonomy requests scheduled can take a whole chunk of time, causing everything else to not be processed in a timely manner. You can notice this when the game stops processing “sub actions”, which are basically the interactions that make your sim do an animation, causing them to endlessly bob their heads and stop. The time can also slow down on Speed 3 and it can even jump back to the past. Now, how did I fix this, you may ask?

Remember that we know what takes the most time (autonomy) to process, so I separated autonomy and everything else into separate buckets!Continuing our bucket analogy, I created a new bucket exclusively for autonomy. If the simulation bucket needs more than 17 milliseconds to run, then now, our new autonomy bucket won’t even run at all, creating a more responsive simulation. On my computer the time has never gone back in time nor slowed down after installing this mod, however, your results will vary depending on your CPU speed.I’ve tested this mod and I can honestly say it’s making my gameplay 100% more enjoyable. Not only do Sims perform actions faster but there seems to be no situations where my sims get ”stuck” for no reason.

Social events are running at full speed and festivals from The Sims 4 City Living no longer cause my sims to get stuck. To download this mod, simply click the download button below! Does anyone know of the site?? And if so does anyone know of this Mod Faster, Responsive Speed???
