I purchased this Gerber Mark 1 new in 1979. It is made of L-6 Tool Steel and is serial number 052471. It includes the original leather 'Boot Clip' scabbard, the original price label, and the original Use and Care pamphlet. The handle is excellent with no scratches or chips and maintains 100% or its' original black Armorhide finish.
