New Order share unreleased video of 'Ceremony'The British group shares Ian Curtis's classic last track, as part of the re-issue of ' Movement 'BATTAGLINO BRISEMANCHESTER - In December last year, New Order announced they would release a re-issue of 'Movement', their legendary debut album.That 1981 album not only continued to maintain the classic Joy Division style but also included some of the songs Ian Curtis composed at the time shortly before his death. One of them was ' Ceremony ', a theme that Manchester's post-punk band never officially released, but was played live, as well as later presented as New Order by Bernard Sumner and company.Being one of their most praised themes, the electronic group shared an unreleased video where they are seen performing that song written by Curtis at Comanche Student Union in Manchester.The video was shared to promote the release of the box set of the album 'Movement', which will include several demos and so on.' Ceremony' was composed by Ian Curtis and it is the last song he created with Joy Division before committing suicide.You can see below that presentation given almost 40 years ago by New Order with 'Ceremony'.
